Winning the Fight Before the Fight...

Cutting/Making weight can be one of the most mentally sapping and physically daunting things for a fighter or grappler to do. However, all things being even, there is a definitely advantage to competing in a weight class that is much lower than your "walking weight".

Cutting weight and cutting weight correctly and healthy are two vastly different things which can directly affect the way you compete the following day (or sometimes the same day).

Elite grappler, professional MMA fighter, and American Top Team instructor Jayson Patino shares some of his tried and true techniques for cutting weight and being competition ready the following day.

    Check it out...

How to Conquor the Fight Before the Fight - Cutting Weight Correctly

Wow! Judging from the pictures' captions Jayson cut from 162 to 134 pounds for a competition, I'm feeling anxious over cutting 8.

That is not conducive to passionate cunnilingus, my friend, let me assure you.

Yeah, he cut from about 165 to 134 in about 48 hours and then jumped back up to approx 162 within 24 hours of weigh-ins.

This was for the ADCC North American East Trials (which he won). But, Jayson has been wrestling freestyle for over a decade and knows what the hell he is doing.

I'm really quite impressed with that cut percentage amount. I would be interested to see his full weight cutting timetable but understand that its the kind of thing which people keep private. I used the bathtub sweat out myself a few days ago and i have to say it was more enjoyable than a sauna sweat. Be prepared for a big headache though.

80% of a fight is won outside the ring, training, cardio ect.
