Not to me it's not clear. Can you cite some examples from the video?

Sure. For one, he just grabs on the guys head and hangs as his primary offensive strategy. His technique for his stand-up is good, but then again, he's clearly bigger and stronger than his opponent, so hanging on doesn't probably favor the Ohio fella. His few and far between shot attempts were really not so impressive on the level change side of things, and what he's really doing is just reaching in with those gorilla arms and snagging a leg. Relative to his opponent who for his two takedown attempts uses speed and timing to his favor. You can even see, just at the end, Brock gives him a huge shove up top, which he receives, then redirects into nearly a double. Other than that I can't say a ton, cause it was a bit of a snoozer, as HW bouts tend to be.

Thanks for that, bro. It was cool to see. I've seen some vid of Brock's amateur career, but never that one.

Heh, I hear that a lot. Many dudes dislike watching HWs fight. Maybe I'm only fond of those matches because that's what I fight.

Fair to assume you are not a HW?

    Uhhhh, what is Greco?

The Angle Match? That's Olympic Freestyle, bro.

And the Lesnar match was Collegiate style.

    I'm confused.

Both fair and truthful. It's not that I don't like any heavyweights, I just prefer a back and forth that is spirited. When I was in college, I saw two heavyweights fight who were originally both from Russia, and I guess rivals. It was 6:00 of nonstop lat drops and arm drags. I can deal with that any day. It's just the stalling and points wrestling that I don't love, which, in all fairness, is really something that happens in all of Collegiate and upper level wrestling, not just the HW division.

If it makes a difference, I was diggin' the Ohio guy's style.

Yes, sorry, I misspoke, I meant Freestyle. I was just saying the rules are different than Collegiate.

That's not even a fair fight. Even at this age, smart money's on The Russian Concussion.
