So while I am despairing over learning medieval Spanish and skipping gym time to get the grades I need, I've found this exercise very useful:
YouTube - Randy Couture Workout for MMA Conditioning
Bent rows x8
Upright rows x8
Military press x8
Good morning x8
Lunges x8 (each leg)
Squat push press x8
It's really quite cool and funny, but also pretty demanding.
Helps me to start into the day pretty pumped up.
Now, since I am doing this on a daily base, could you recommend me an second, alternative barbell circuit, so I can vary from day to day and do not overtrain?
I usually do this pretty soon after getting up,
and it takes me like 1/2 an hour.
Thanks a lot,

i'm a fan of dumbell circuits myself.
10 tricep extensions
10 military press
10 bicep curl
10 lateral raises
rest 3-5 minutes
repeat 2-4 more times

So should I vary barbell and dumbbell exercises from day to day?

i do. i make my full upper body days on machines and barbells, while my arm and shoulder are done exclusively with dumbells and a dip rack.
i find dumbells to be way more challanging and putting in a few rounds of them drastically improves my performance.

Cool, will do, then.
Got only very light barbells (8 pd each), but then again,
it's for rep/max, and doing the "Asriel" circuit, as I call it with 15 pounds already killed me totally.
Hehe, looks like I have training plan...
