Well i participated in my first fight yesterday it was an ISKA muay thai fight. I took it in the days notice if i can sum up the fight in two words i would say balls and cardio.
My cardio was shot by the second round and i was running on heart. My opponent was way bigger than me and cut down from 185ish to 178 at the weigh ins, i am walking 173 so i really had no business being in the ring with the dude.
It was a hard fought match in which i got two flush knees to the balls which really rocked me and my balls hurt even now. I put up a good fight but i was wayy overmatched in size and cardio so props to my opponent.
Great learning experience hope to train really hard core for a month and fight again august. Here are some pictures of my cup cuz i have never seen something like this and it is crazy.....

Fair play mate, hope it goes well next time. Do you think the knees to the groin were dirty or an accident?

It was an accident for sure. I dont really blame the dude its kinda hard to aim well especially with the adrenaline of the fight and in the clinch. But two flush knees to the balls will take the fire out of any fighter.

Good on you for getting out there. Better luck next time.
I've broken a few cups grappling and from drilling, but they were the cheap-o kind. That looks like it took some real force. Impressive.
