    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    FMA in San Francisco?

Hey all, I'm planning on moving to SF in a few months. I'll be living right in the city, (mission/SOMA/Hayes Valley).

Things are finally going well for me, and I'll be working on film productions. I'll be working on location for 8 weeks and then have a few months off to do nothing but train and relax between projects.

I have found more than one school that teaches MT& grappling, which will be one of my primary focuses. But I also want to train Kali or other FMA, stick/knife & empty hand MA. I haven't been able to find a FMA school in the searches I have done so far. I have a lot going on, so maybe I have missed something. Anyway I figured it couldn't hurt to ask the bullies for suggestions. Thanks -john

You might want to PM Frank White, I seem to recall him mentioning stickfighting in SF, and non-FMA stickfighting is somewhat uncommon.

Tons of stuff in East Bay. Vallejo if you want to go that far. Cinco tiros, Cabales system, loads of others. Vallejo has a very large Filipino population. Not too sure about what's in SF proper though.

The less travel the better, but I'm willing to see how it works out if I have to leave the city.
