Style: BJJ--
I'm jealous of Omega, for both the list and his judo....
Met and trained a bunch with Royce and Rodrigo Gracie- tons of pictures with them. Both great guys. Rodrigo comes off more as a badass. Royce is more like your cool uncle, I guess.
Competed against one of Matt Serra's guys at NAGA. I lost 0-0 ref's decision (VERY lame!). Have video of that. Talked to Serra after- super nice guy. Invited us to train with him anytime, etc.

Tim Sylvia didn't get my jokes, so now I tell people he's a dick.
I'm pretty sure he decided I was mentally retarded. I jokingly asked if he was going to give a local fighter named Jason Reinhardt a title shot. Reinhardt trained at Miletich and weighed 135 in his shoes, so I thought this was pretty cute.
"No. He's in a different weightclass. We would never fight each other" Sylvia told me, dead serious. There was an unspoken, " . . . and who ties your shoes, you poor dumb bastard?" in his expression. -

Seriously? Fire your photographer immediately. These have to be the worst "I met a famous person" pictures I've ever seen.
I've met Sherk, who was pretty cool, but really short. Like, shorter than 5'6" short.
Met Chris Lytle after he submitted Jason Gilliam and told him it was one of the coolest subs I'd ever seen. He was like "Aw, shucks, you saw the fight? Thanks man, that means a lot." Well, he didn't actually say "shucks" but he seemed genuinely surprised that someone recognized him. Awesome guy and really humble.
Know/used to train with Urijah Faber, and he's cool as hell.
