New Piece for the Collection!

Any Sig Sauer fans here should appreciate this piece:

This is a Brand new P228 with a rail, Nickel plated parts setup, 15 round flush fitting magazine, and Siglite Night Sights, 100% German made. The stamped slide gives the piece a very balanced feel. Its a 9x19mm, the magazines are all MecGar manufactured. It has the shorter, easier to reach trigger installed. DA/SA, M11 designation, very smooth action. One of the nicest 9mm pistols I've fired. Put about 300 rounds through it so far. These pistols were only manufactured in Germany and in limited numbers, so this is bound to be a good collector's piece. It was a very difficult weapon to find!

That Sir...is a nice piece. I've got a 228 that was one of those German Police
275.00 AIM Surplus deals...but it's a good shooter. That thing you have there is just plain pretty. Light rail and all....I am indeed envious!

Well at least 2 of us here are fans of Swiss/German engineering under one of the most respected names in firearms. This thing gets some insane groups at 25 yards. I'll try to get a target picture up soon.
