Raleigh has an *almost* halfway reasonably decent Middle Eastern + Turkish + Indian population going for it at least. The Turkish and Indian festivals held each year generally kicks ass.

Raleigh has a Turkish population? How did that happen?

My census sources state Charlotte is suppose to have over 7000 Asians.

I was somewhat ecstatic when my friend noted the university has been swamped by international students for the first time ever. Apparently with the economy so bad its dirt cheap to send your kids overseas. She mentioned seeing large groups of Koreans wandering campus. But then I realized dang it I'm probably 22 years younger than they are and they won't be opening a dojang while they are here anyway.

    Wohali,

Contact this Master Tina Feraca at tferaca@aol.com and tell her Jeremy from the USTC refered you to her. She is, I believe, from Fayetteville, NC. She has studied with GM Mayes and is a good instructor herself. She may be able to help you.

Thanks Miguksaram! I'll give her a try. I hope she isn't too freaked out by my contacting her though.
