But according to the same forum, Coach Josh, with his ranking and credentials has not the position of authority with which to judge Matt Morton.

    Sad, sad hypocrisy.

Mark, the decorum you showed when handling yourself throughout this whole debacle has been admirable. I hope that you only said this because the pm was critical of your posts here and on the judoforum. If not, then this fragment of text however is the only part that I have any gripes towards simply because it implies that you don't care about those of a lower rank who have a long road of hardships ahead of them.

I would simply like to remind you that there are still some mudansha out there who care more about obtaining quality instruction and our personal development in Judo as a whole as opposed to the color of our belts.
I hold you and what you have accomplished in high regard, so it stings a tad bit that you willingly and easily turn a blind eye towards the lower ranks.

I'm just reiterating that I'm not trying to be antagonistic or disrespectful, as I respect what you've accomplished and would have more than loved to attend some of your seminars.

Thanks for making that distinction. I sort of lost my head over it.

Co sign. What type of arrogance would lead a freakin green belt to characterize? Train few years dude than tell us what you think.

And its not about pulling rank its about spending a few years to know the territory you speak of. Just to be clear. You can't know the territory or issues at a certain point. Not enough to call out a guy who has spent the better part of his life training.

Arrogance is an amazing thing.... it never ceases to amaze me. Great job Mark.... Hopefully the schooling will be appreciated when the yondon learns his color chart.

I wonder how Mr. Green Belt would feel if everyone who walked into the dojo after today was automatically handed a Black Belt and told they are now his Senior.
