I dont believe they are interested in QC either.
On one hand, QC does not cost six figures to implement.
On the other, it would probably weed out at least a few of the supplement "manufacturers" (read: marketers) that they've endorsed.
Lets just say that the high $$ is to weed out the hangers on that are trying to gain legitamact through the UFC. The UFC doesnt want to make them rich unless they are getting their cut.
The real devil's advocate argument is that league-wide exclusivity in any given sponsor category is worth more than the sum of competing deals (this is unlikely, but possible), and so the fighters as a group (the less popular ones in particular) will reap benefits via bigger purses, etc.
Such a deal could be part of the plan. Larger companies with the cash can give more money to the UFC allowing them to pay a percentage out of it to the fighters. Even the less popular ones. Think of it as some sort of salary base.
A fighter under UFC contract is gauranteed a set salary per year based of the sponsorship revenues and the fight bonuses on top of that.
(the above theory is completely of my own creation)

Knowing that the fertittas threw monay at this year after year despite early heavy losses makes me less likely to blame them. It isn't just Dana.
There is no cheating, there is only jiu-jitsu.

^I've been having to reinforce that in an mma thread on another forum I go too, people get so quick to fire doomsday missiles at Dana White, when Zuffa is much bigger than him as one person, but his attitude and loud mouth are always at the forefront, making it easy to throw it all at him.
