Another branch of the same school, more bullshit. I'm pretty sure none of these people have any grounding in any legitimate weapons, Aikido, or anything else they're claiming to have in depth knowledge of.

If you watch a legit sword kata, the strikes are done as if they are actual strikes. In that entire video I didn't see what looked like a single actual cut, just lack of control, bad/made up attacks and a dude focused on trying to cut all his fingers off.

For an example of my experience, I did several years of Shinkendo:

Notice the sword kata stuff, the students seem to be a range of beginner to advanced, but they all have better technique than that video. Observe particularly their dome (the abrupt end of a cut) and nagashi (transition from cut to cut).

how many times have we heard " i can knock someone out from behind a door a tree or from across the room". If they could they wouldnt need to teach punching or kicking! cause they would be in the next super hero film.
