    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    Rod Sacharnoski???

This guy was my first instuctor (way back in '85)

He is the founder of Juko-Kai. He claims a soke - ship in something or other. (making him 10th dan)

Back then he was a goju/kung-fu/judo/jjj/chin'a/tuite instructor.
(he said he was 8th dan in judo)

Now I heard he is teaching Hatsumi's ninja stuff.

Has anyone ever trained w/ this guy.

ps-mods...sorry if it's not ok to ask about a specific instructor. Please delete if I'm out of line.

i have a friend that trained with him at LSU for about 5 years that is totally on Rod's jock. he got his brown belt in juko-kai. apparently, besides the goofy combat-ki crap on tv, they did a lot of heavy sparring. basically from what i have been told, juko-kai is karate with some judo throws added to the curriculum.

however, you can go to www.e-budo.com and read about the legal battles between Don Cunningham and Soke, Dr., Grandmaster Sacharnoski

'Dr' Sacharnoski is an old favorite around here, because of his 'Combat Ki' & fake university diploma factory... I'm sure he knows something, though, but I'd say he's pretty far from the list of people I'd like to associate myself with. Right behind George Dillman, probably...

    Wow! That was fast.

    Thanks for the info....

(back in the day you could get a black belt from sacharnoski in one year)

If you listen to his history it gets very confusing.

Somehow he fought in Korea, Vietnam, all the while being the head instructor of Goju in Okinawa....his commute must have been a bear!

yeah, he also claims to be the first european to get his 8th degree in sport judo, but for some odd reason no association claims him.

seriously, if you want his whole life history, go to the link in my previous post and just do a search on him or juko-kai

The topic is an old topic.
I beleive someone got into some legal problems here over the Rod Sach. comments he made last year or so. Some say he's bogus others say something else. etc Go figure. Do your own research.

    Oh...

I know he's bogus. I trained under him for a couple of years. (in the mid-eighties) It's just really fun to hear (bad stuff) about him.

And I will use the search.

    I'll consider my self-reprimanded.
