I have seen other Ving Tsun schools that teach a "watered down" version of the art, basically 2 year sash factories which I avoided.

How do you know? What basis did you have to come to this conclusion?

I know the Ving Tsun I'm getting is REAL!

I was expecting a lot of MMA fighters to come out and trash a wonderful art because it was created by a female.

Don't you think fighters would be more bothered by an art which hasn't produced a significant elite level champion in more than half a century?

My Sifu trained for 32 years under Richard Tsims. You wont find Richard Tsims or Michael Sampson in any Ving Tsun archive. Tsims is under his Chinese name and Sampson's school has only been open for a little over 2 years. From what I understand as a student, a Sifu in Ving Tsun has to have a operating school for 5 years to be a recognized Ving Tsun school.

The other schools That I have seen teaching a watered down version of Ving Tsun are schools that mix Ving Tsun with other styles. These are schools with a couple hundred students that test every 4 months. There are no other Ving Tsun schools in Savannah, GA, but there are plenty in Atlanta, GA and in Florida that I know about and have researched.

My Sifu has always talked about Moy Yat and how great of a teacher he was. Sifu Sampson meets with a few of Moy Yat's former students (who are Sifu's them selves) and touches hands with them once a month.
