Yeah, Junior for sure, I dunno how big a part Rafael has in it. And maybe 90% of their guys are class act awesome, but they have one seriously douchy big mouthed brazillian purple belt, about 6'1, 170lbs. He essentially browbeat the tournament staff at Casca Grossa into declaring his dude the winner.

Sounds like a great reason for CCW.*

Yeah, and Kristy and Eric (not gonna try and type their last names). Very cool people.

I'm not at Ascension all that often so I honestly don't know everyone there, but I have no idea who that would be and neither does Kat (who pretty much is there every evening). Don't know any purple belt brazillians.

    Update:

Kat and I are fighting in the finals this evening due to only one other person being in our divisions.

Kat is fighting Lindsay Sheer who's record is something like 8-4, which is a nice change up from the usual novice opponents. It should be an interesting fight. My opponent I don't really know anything about except she's a novice (I signed up for the open division but there were no women in that division).

This thread is worthless without vids!!! It will be nice to see Kat facing someone with a real record for once.

Video will be uploaded soon (still a little tired from the trip and what not). Kat vs Lindsay was pretty intense, they had a hard fought battle that Kat won by split decision. Kat was definitely off her game on Saturday, but Lindsay fought a really good fight. Very strong clinch skills, hard fast kicks and a sharp over hand right. It was definitely refreshing to see Kat have a real battle with someone for a change. Kat and Lindsay will most likely be meeting again at the IKF World Classic on July 24th-26th since both plan to be competing in the 140lb division at the tournament.

Unfortunately my fight didn't go down due to a bit of retarded misunderstandings/lack of communication about when it was supposed to happen.
