After much waiting (mid-February) my newest toy has come home to stay!
It weighs next to nothing and allows me to shoot my .308 sniper rifle with very little noise (no earplugs/muffs needed). To protect the threads when the suppressor isn't attached, I got a YHM "Phantom" style flash suppressor to protect the threads. This is where I do my "butt nekkid dance of victory"!!!

Do you hand tighten until the suppressor hits the shoulder or does it have a tapered thread?

This particular rifle is a Remington 700 PSS/LTR w/ Leupold LR/T 6.5x20.
It's about a 1/2MOA gun with a 2.5lb trigger. It's a nasty, nasty rifle.
I got a container of lube for when I put it on/take it off and thus far, I'm super-pleased with it's performance. I'll get a better idea as to what effect it has on its accuracy on Thursday when I get back out to the 500yd range. I'll upload some pics with some sound comparisons and some cutouts of bullet groupings. I'm kind of anxious myself to see what's going to happen with it.

Alright...here's a pic of me and another BS member at the range. I'm filming; not actually shooting. The covered range that we're at kinda reverberates the sound a bit and makes it sound a lot louder than it actually is...but oh well. First video is without the suppressor, the second is without.

As you can see...no effect on accuracy, except perhaps making it a bit tighter. This 3-shot group is almost 1/4 MOA at 100 yards. It held up to 500 yards, and I was shooting 3/4 MOA groups at 500 yards. I was happy as hell.

I had a 700 VSS in .308 before needing to hire child custody lawyers in two states.

It was one sweet shooting rifle.

Please let us know if the accuracy holds up after the can has had a good number of rounds through it.
