    Depends on the type of machine your referring to....Seriously, what kind of results from strength training are you looking for? What are your goals for the training? Is it for MA's or general workout or are planning on competing in bodybuilding?

    I'd say regardless of goals, machines are a poor choice for strength training.

    They have a use in pre/rehab stuff, and some advanced bodybuilding, but for actual god honest strength training, they are not good.

    The only good thing about a machine, in my opininion, is that they are easy to use. Machine training lacks challenging the stabilization needed to perform everyday tasks, is not functional, over emphasizes your strong side (if it isn't iso lateral). Also, not everyone fits in a machine properly (one size doesn't fit all), doesn't use the frontal and transverse plane of motion. These planes of motion are the side to side and twisting motions, respectively. A complete training program covers all 3 planes of motion, challenges balance, stability and postural control. As well as, uses DB's, BB's, resistant bands and fit balls and allows you to learn how to manipulate your body weight. The ESP-XC utilizes all of these concepts that exercise science over the past 25 years has shown to be more beneficial than other traditinal and conventional methods.

    Strength training

    Strength Adds damage for Archer, but its pure damage.

    Dexterity also adds damage for Archer, but it adds less damage, but also adds dodge, accuracy and etc.
