I'm actually a lot more interested in seeing Jones lose. Not that I have anything against the guy or that I'm rooting against him, but he's REALLY young for a pro fighter, and I'm curious to see how he handles it mentally when he really gets slapped around for the first time. Being undefeated and 21 years old is kind of a dangerous ego-boosting combination, and I want to see how he bounces back after his bubble gets popped.
Also, his cardio was kinda crappy in his fight with Bonnar. -

I wouldn't count Frank Mir out of the fight so easily. He's hungry. It shows in what he did to Nog. Those cinder blocks that Lesnar calls hands can, of course, change the outcome of the fight at any moment, but I give the edge to Mir. He wants it more and has a considerable advantage in experience.

Hm...that is interesting, I didn't know that. You're right then, O'Brien has the better amateur credentials. However, Jones seems to wrestle more in the Greco tradition-I haven't seen him shoot a lot, and he's obviously had some great takedowns from the clinch.
Maybe O'Brien's shot will be more explosive at LHW (it looked pretty bad against Arlovski), but I still think Jones' speed will give him problems there, and I'd be surprised if Jake doesn't meet at least one knee to the face while shooting in.
If O'Brien can get Jones to the ground in top position, then I think he'll have a good shot at winning, otherwise I still think Jones takes it pretty handily. Cardio will be the determining factor in the wrestling, and neither looked great in that area in their last fight. -

Akiyama by slippage stoppage ... :P
But overall, who cares who wins in this card? We all win! Most stacked card I've seen in a while, should host a lot of exciting fights.
I'll be rooting for Mir / GSP / CB / Bonnar / Hendo. Although I'm not really sure I'd bet money on all those fights. -

I hope that GSP hangs himself by his Kyokushin black belt and shits all over himself, recognizing that he is a cheater who has brought great shame to the martial arts and to Kyokushinkaikan.
