I just hope Dana gets this done before Fedor's ability starts to decline. He's only a year older than Lesnar, but I would hate it if they finally faced each other and Lesnar won just because Fedor's body had absorbed so many more fights. Then again, WWE performers don't have the healthiest lifestyle either. Rambling a bit here, but it irritates me that Dana didn't get Fedor to the UFC two years ago. Lesnar probably wouldn't be champion to begin with.

Sadly, without cable/satellite TV and suck with freeview - the chances of seeing some decent MMA action is all down to youtube or the slim chance of some sports programme doing a show about it at 2.00 in the morning....

However, the sliver lining is Michael Bisping got owned, hammered and generally fucked over royally.
    Gotta love that...

You're in the UK, right? UFC 100 was available free, for 24 hours, at uk.ufc.com . I don't know if the next ones will be on there too, but it's worth a heads up.

Handy to know, however - I spend most of work stuck in front of a PC... so the last thing I wish to do is sit in front of a PC at home, having said that... it's good to know about a way of getting up to date info.

    Cheers

Funny how some people think Akiyama landed more meaningful punches...

Akiyama has a fractured orbital after that fight and unless cleared early (Sept. 10th at the earliest, no contact till Aug 26th) by an ophthalmologist is suspended until Jan 8th.

I think that eye is really the only reason Belcher should have won. He obviously did more damage. However, in just about every other aspect, Akiyama outperformed Belcher.

    Outperformed might be an overstatement.
It was a very, very close fight.

I totally agree. I think it was a close fight but I think Alan should have gotten the win. I don't understand how the one judge scored it 30-27 for Akiyama. Especially since he was dropped in the first round. I had it 29-28 Belcher, but I'm a little bias in that I used to train with Alan

    Would you buy, "edged out"?

    edged out works.
I heard Akiyama also got a broken face with his win.
