I'm really impressed with Team UK, both of their fighters are in the Welterweight final.

I'm disappointed Nick Osipczak isn't in the final, I enjoyed him including this KO.

YouTube - Nick Osipczak Knocks Out Mark Miller (TUF Season 9)

Was surprised his primary fighting style is kung fu, does anyone know what other systems he practices, BJJ, Submission wrestling?

    I love that knockout!

Nick Osipczak said he'd done Kung-Fu for a couple of years, then started MMA and got his ass whooped "by every guy in there" and never looked back. So I guess he's got 2-3yrs of "proper" MMA on top of national championship level Kung Fu....so maybe 5-6 yrs of MA training total?

He was my favourite too, and I'm gutted he isn't in the final. I wonder if he'll get a craic at the UFC anyway. Dana White seemed impressed even in his loss against DMJ.

Did you seriously call a split-decision?
I think you're spending too much time on Sherdog, that basically means there's no clear winner. I love the 'tards that say "it should at least have been a split".
    Sanchez
    Lytle
    Winner
Stevenson (this guys stock has dropped massively but he's quite good, if he shows up motivated, he wins)
    Tibau by being a fighter
    Blackburn
    Drawl
    Dollar

no, i never say something should have been a split. It drives me nuts when people think Unanimous decision means it wasn't a close fight. Hell a 30-27 across the board could be a close fight. It just means 1 guy barely did enough to take each round.

As to why I picked guida by split, I think it will be a very close fight with Guida edging out Sanchez based strictly on controlling the fight. I just am also guessing that it will be so close in at least one round that there won't be a consensus between the judges on who won it.

Well, at least you understand what it means.
