august 30th show

I will edit this post once I have the picture & his parents permission!

We are holding our 9th show august 30th about 30 miles south of albany ny, I have secured a hotel ballroom, & we will be hosting bouts in shooto/am mma - san-da & Muay thai! I am in need of fighters judges & referee's for this event.

the bulk of the proceedes will go to a local boy with luekimia, I am still awaiting the release form to place his picture & name on the post!

all bouts are held in our 20' X 20' 5 roped ring, tickts are $20 & gyms will be given expense $$,

I need fighters at everyweight, I will provide free beer, & food for all coaches & fighters of age who stay at the hotel!

I could not secure rooms, but did manage to get a resonable rate on the ballroom!

please help, we need guys for this show hopefully some fresh blood as many of our fighters have gone on to bigger shows!

the following will be the division & weights

novice 3 or less bouts(age 18-34)
Open (age 18-34) 30 or more bouts
149 &>
150-160
161-170
171-185
186-205
205+
matches will be done day of by draw by class & weight, fighters traveling the longest distance will be drawn first!

masters & juniors will be pre-matched!

we will also pre-match any san-da or muay thai matches!

Joe & I will be there, we are looking for others as well!

Guys this really is a great time, it is the best way to get started, you get experience & fight atmosphere while not having to be at one of the huge promotions.

My gym had a blast last time, we went 1-1, we have 4 fighters fighting this time,

also rev & his crew set up bouts for guys under 18! anyone looking to break into mma should try this, great time, this show also is in a ballroom with a full service bar! (being 19 blows sometimes!)

idk yet, but it is near the old location in Berne, NY (Albany county)

yes it is about 15 miles from the old location, we will be posting a more complete detail later, pm me contact info if you are interested,

I a just getting pre-lim stuff out now, we are looking for between 8-12 bouts as the ball room with a 20' X 20' ring will seat about 300!

currently I have about 5 on the card, so I am looking for 5-7 more!

I also am interested in nuetral judges/ officials, as we are a small promotion, located centraly in upstate new york & western new england it is hard to find nuetral judges, any volunteeres from the sight would be appreciated!

I think tideliar the geographic location was listed in my first post!

Oop. Sorry Rev. Must have been having a blind-as-a-bat day yesterday.

NY State is a bit of a stretch from TN I'm afraid. And with mates in Binghamton & Rochester I won't even be close :(

a small town outside Albany ny, I said less than 2 hours, actually it is just over 1 hour north of bimington, and it is just off rt 88 as is bimington! Does your friend in Bimmington fight, we are looking for a gym in bimmington or Oneantoa!
