Well I agree with their athleticism, I think MMA gives an advantage to people who are only slightly taller than average. About 6'2. Any larger than that and it is too difficult to defend the takedown or defend against a fighter who gets inside. It's really no different from boxing in that regard. all the best boxers are taller than average but not gigantic. While tall fighters can be successful, I think it is a disadvantage. These people are successful at basketball because of their atheleticism, yes, but also because they are BUILT to play basketball, with a proper ape index, the ability to jump high.
Shaq would be highly entertaining to watch. But as a serious contender, it's a a freak show. -

I remember back in 1993 or 94 Shaq called out Mike Tyson a couple of times, said he would fight for a million dollars.
I remember really wanting to see that fight and knowing it was never going to happen. Shaq big, Tyson small, I would pay to see that.
It reminds me of that. Also I think Shaq has been mostly doing groundwork, so he might have a chance against Hong. Lol
But either way I would pay to see Shaq fight anyone.
Maybe we can still make Shaq v Tyson real, someone start an online petition.
