Many things we do naturally become difficult only when we try to make them intellectual subjects. It is possible to know so much about a subject that you become totally ignorant.

Like Aaron talked about when throwing to draw the bow, maintain tension between the grips so there isn't slack between your hands, this translated on the ground to controls and to submissions with isolation of attacked limb. All in all everything seems to be a multitasker in SAMBO.
Zap and JNP, I hate that y'all missed this. A good time was definitely had.
We hate we missed it too! Both of us play a game that would have benefited this camp.

The camp was a good time for everyone. It was really nice to meet you in person and I am glad you had a good time. I will look forward to hanging out with you again, if you make it up North be sure to let me know, you have a place to stay and a mat to sweat on. Thanks for such a kind write up.... (Just remember SAMBO doesn't choke...right..:XXjester:) Also remember that I have no knowledge of where the “Bobbi” photo came from.
Ya'all showed us a hell'va bunch of hospitality. I know I speak for all the coaches when I say thanks to everyone.
We feel as though the camp was a success. The major goal of the ASA is education of our combative/combative sport community as to what SAMBO is and the promotion of it as a sport. All of us that are officers within the Association put SAMBO above ourselves. We don't have bridges to sell; all we have to offer is what we have learned. This is a sport of blue collars and sweat equity. In addition, we all share a like view of where we need to go as a sport and as an association. Of equal importance we share a view of what integrity is and are not willing to compromise.
It was nice that the camp was attended by folks who “got” where we were coming and it seemed to “take” to the approach we offered.
