I agree, Dana did state before that Australia is one Country in which they want to host a UFC event, Germany was another mentioned in that statement (and wow look at UFC 99?!).
Should be good if it comes here. I know NSW allows this, and QLD as well, so bring it on I say!
State officials would be fucking stupid to not allow this, an amazing amount of revenue amongst other things would come of it.

There is Definetly a need for clarification that MMA fights are not two oversized/overtestosteroned guys trying to physically maim each other.
p.s is MMA training illegal in Victoria or just the fights which are illegal?

Martial arts training is not illegal, but there wont be any sanctioned MMA fights to compete in. In Adelaide they have San-Shou and San-Shou plus knees rules in some competitions. This is the closest rules we have in our state.
