I am sad to have missed Mr. SamboSteve and Mr. 1.2, hopefully I will be able to be in NYC when you guys are there one of these times.

    BTW, who is blue shorts?

I believe, sir, that I am the blue shorts. Unless someone else was wearing blue shorts?

That's me light sparring with Squerlli and Dave, in any case.

BTW - good to see/meet everyone who showed up. A nod of appreciation to the women for: A) Sacrificing their Sunday afternoons and B) fine cinematography

Uber thanks to Jack and Steve for the pointers. Great stuff I will be adding to my toolbox, such as it is.

For all those who did not make it because of a hang over - would a 1 or 2 PM meet up time be better?

Also, it seems to me that FH is virtually empty after 2PM; ergo - more mat space.

    Something to think about.

Hey guys, just wanted to say thanks and nice meeting all of you. Can't wait for the next one. Hopefully we'll have a bigger turnout and get to use the ring and the rest of the mat space. I do think if it's an hour or two later we'll get the whole place to ourselves so something to think about for the next mega TD.

Thanks to everyone who indirectly taught me something, the guys I rolled with, and thanks to Andrei Arlovski and Bas Rutten for their great kickboxing sparring session.

It was a pleasure rolling with you, man. I'm pretty sure I have your ferocious triangle attempt on my girlfriend's camera, but I haven't had a chance to comb through the footage yet.

    Word.

Maybe I'll actually keep my f'ing hands up next time around.

Gentlemen, shall we go ahead and work on a tentative date for the next one?

Not sure if I can make it down again so soon.

I have the first video uploaded though! Also, see the other thread for pics. My gf took many, many more of me being sweaty and drinking that muscle milk that I couldn't open.

Long gi roll with Jack, with instruction at the end. I actually haven't watched it all the way through yet.

Fun fact: My guard passing is a joke.
