Speaking of Mundial results, I want to shout out to a couple of my friends and teammates.
First: Chris Visentin. He was laid off earlier this year and decided to take his severance and free time to train jiujitsu twice a day. Two years after first putting on the gi he became the best blue belt at Alliance NYC, won the worlds, and earned his purple belt. Here's an interview one of the other students did with him about how he trained:

Chris is a hard working fella with a great attitude, expect to see more from him in the future.
Another guy I'm very proud of is Adonis Vasquez, a 16-year old who's been training with us for a little over a year. He took silver in his division, missing gold by a ref's decision.“Most people do not do, but take refuge in theory and talk, thinking that they will become good in this way” -- Aristotle, Nicomachean Ethics, II.4
