"I was walking down the street, minding my OWN business..."

Right. Cops aren't going to just harass you out of fucking nowhere. Yes, I know about fifteen thousand of you jackasses are going to explain a time when a cop fucked with you for no reason...but i guarantee there was a reason.

****, man, if you're dealing with a cop, be respectful. That'll get you a long way, trust me.

As for people pulling weapons on cops, I agree with what my dad has always said:

    "put the weapon down!"

    ...still holding the weapon.

    "put the weapon down!!"

    ...still holding the...bang...

    Not holding the weapon anymore.

That is not conducive to passionate cunnilingus, my friend, let me assure you.

that would be the great lakes dialect, shared by Wisconsin, Michigan, and Illinoise.

Most of the cops in the video were from the Milwaukee county area.

Most departments have a "no body hold" rule. So called "come-along" holds are in reality submissions. In the gym, where people do not want something broken, they work well. In the real world, people resist.

When they resist something gets broken.

When something gets broken, people sue.

For a very long time, police have been looking for a "Vulcan Neck Pinch" that will subdue with no harm. Pepper Spray was held in such esteem, now the Tazer.

Because the people above them think this is a "safe" way to subdue someone, they mandate it.

Hence, we get things as this.....
This point about "come alongs" is absolutely true... my two cents: If you are going to teach em, do em (teach em) from the side position so that if you don't get a reaction you don't get grabbed, stabbed, blindsided by a perp's friend, etc. If you do teach em teach em as an adjunct to how to make the hold into a throw or break.

Come alongs are neat and they are a big fat false sense of security. Even when you break something you may have to wait for your reaction... given the 3 second rule stated who would care to wait til after the confict? Not I not I... I bounced for years knowing and never using come alongs, the are not to be trusted imo.

Regarding knives and conflict.... there is a reason why a lot of the good ones would rather have a blade or three at 12 feet or less than a gun. Keep in mind that putting a bullet into someone and stopping them can be two different things.

After a man got tazed and died in an airport, Tazers were ruled to be considered deadly force and only used when someone is putting someone else's life in danger (in Canada). I can't beleive the stupidity of the cop tazing a gramma becuase she was resisting arrest and using foul language.
