Kimbo in TUF 10!

(Yes, I know this came up in another thread, but I thought it deserved it's own.)

Unbelievable. I have never been a Kimbo fan. I don't like the "streetfighter/thug" image he has cultivated. I don't think he's good for the sport and I think he sucks as a fighter. I hope he gets annihilated. Backyard brawling =/= MMA. And yeah, I know he's been "training mma". I don't care. Still can't stand the guy.

I'm calling it, Kimbo destroys everyone on the ultimate fighter, joins UFC, and then beats Lesnar for the belt. Then everyone on bullshido renounces MMA and this eventually becomes a board dedicated to knitting.

Amazing! After everything Dana has said about Kimbo this is something else. It certainly appears Dana is going for mega coverage and sparking new interest in the show....even if it is just to see how Kimbo does in real training against trained fighters. Bet they hold him for the last elimination fight to get as much out of it as they can.

I already know and train with one other guy that's in the house, and even though it hasn't started yet I can pretty much guarantee if he fought kimbo he'd MURDER him.

This is the best thing Kimbo could do though, and it's what he should have done from the start, get in at the bottom and work his way up. He's not my favorite fighter, but his attitude isn't the worst I've seen either.

This is a very smart move by DW if you ask me. Kimbo is the most well known fighter on the planet in the eyes of the casual fan who doesn't realise his lack of talent. If he come in and loses then all the millions who tune in for the show will realise that the other fighters are actually much better, and they may stay to watch them. If he wins then the UFC have a phenomenal ratings draw. Well done Mr White.
