Cut eyebrow - how long should I sit out

The search function got me nothing.

I just got stitches out of my eyebrow yesterday. Today I tried to get back into some light rolling. I couldn't even make it through a light armbar drill without the cut oozing a bit of blood.

How long should I sit out before it's safe to roll again?

Well, it all depends on how bad the cut was. You had stitches, which usually means it was pretty nasty. A little oozing isn't something you should worry about terribly. A nice triple antibiotic like Neosporin should work well. If all else fails, stick a band aid on it.

If your worried, I'd say give it a week to finishing knitting- though, it should have been done by now since they took the stitches out. But don't let a little cut bench you for a month. It's worth a little ooze to stay in the game.

On the other hand, try not to take any shots to the face....

    Wait till it's healed.
Better for you and everyone you train with.

Lift weights, run, or something until then to stay in shape.

    Thanks guys.

I'm just switching to a Judo club anyway, so I'll spend my time working on break falls and light stand-up partner drills. As long as my break falls don't become face plants and unbalancing doesn't become head butting, I should be fine.
