    Hell yeah! Hell no!

    A spotter is needed

I weight train with relatively high weight, and because I don't train the same amount of repititions and weight with all my excercises, my body is uneven, so I have a hard time putting the weight back on the bench. None of my friends think weight lifting is cool, and don't excercise, and so I'm stronger than them, leaving them thoroughly unqualified for the spotter position. I weight train at home, since the Y dosn't have a weight room and our school is generally closed when I get out of it. I think I'm going to have to give up of getting bigger, and just go for the slim, sleek martial artist look.

    He's a wonky shape ?

Perhaps it would be an idea (not that I know fek all about weight lifting) to reduce the weight your currently lifting and work upon evening up your muscle structure so that it is uniform on both sides ?

Oh and I have the fat bastard martial artists look.

dude if you are uneven stop using barbells and use dumbells for a few months, that will sort you out

what age are you btw--- that will affect what kind of weights you should be doing

    Uneven? what do you mean?
Also, at 16 you should NOTbe doing HEAVY weight training yet.
You can use a "spot rack", spot up rights, a power rack, etc.

Hmmm it sounds like you need to start taking lots of steroids.

Smith Machine for powerlifts if you don't have a spotter, dumbells for everything else. IMO that's the best way to go if you're flying solo.
