    Hedgehogy, thanks man, but I am really not familiar with names of techniques for grappling could you describe what these techniques are please? (btw what is a sprawl? sorry for n00bish questions. So far i put together that a sprawl is where you kick out your pelvis so they cannot put you into a single leg or shoulder thrust throw.)

    If you have an instructor how could you possibly be asking this? Did you mean you have an instructor in something besides grappling?

    Ah, use weakerners just like trying to enter a throw? Do you mean by spin the shoulder as in have both hands on each shoulder, push the left drag the right?

    I would do it one handed if you can, keep the other to apply a lock or strike or to defend.

    Where are you exactly? We have several UK members that could recomend a competent grappling teacher. You just can't learn to grapple from the internet.

    Naw, I was just asking for tips from others people experience, I can grapple to a certain degree, but I will test what been stated to me.
