The direct translation of Largo Mano would be "Long Hand".
This would imply extension an reach, and consequently distance in combat. People debate the specifics, but generally largo is considered the range where a stick or blade can touch your opponent's hand or arm, but not their body. Medio (medium) is where your stick or blade can touch their head/core, and your empty hand can touch their hand/arm. Corto (short/close) would be the range where you can punch them or stab them with a knife.
Different systems may have slightly different interpretations, but this is a good simplistic breakdown of ranges.
