    The BritishPathe.com website has a number of free, downloadable film clips on pre-WW1 cavalry training, etc. Accessing the clips is harder than it needs to be, but they have a lot of stuff that just doesn't appear anywhere else.

    Finding the appropriate clips is easy enough, but unless they've revamped their system over the past couple of years, actually downloading them to play is a bit of a hassle.
