I think if he comes out and either gets the KO, or at least solidly dominates Al Turk for 3 rounds, we may all have something to hope for. OTOH, if he comes out and barely eaks out a decision, or worse yet loses, we can all go back to crying into our cheerios.

I wish he would cut to LHW. The potential fights there are much more interesting to me than he ones he could have at heavyweight.

I would like to see a hungry Cro COp. I've ALWAYS felt he was overrated, and I patiently stood there and let all you guys yell at me for saying that Pride talent was overrated (Fedor and Anderson notwithstanding).
I recognize Cro-cops incredible physical talent though, and he is a real ring general when his head's in the game. If he is hungry, and ready to ATTACk the UFC, then he will be a compelling competitor.
Barring a compeltely re-invented Mirko Fillopvic, he will never hold the title though. And lo, Kano looked down upon the field and saw the multitudes. Amongst them were the disciples of Uesheba who were greatly vexed at his sayings. And Kano spake: "Do not be concerned with the mote in thy neighbor's eye, when verily thou hast a massive stick in thine ass".

More of that, and he'd be hard for anybody to stop.
I think Gonzaga knocked a lot of the fight out of him, though. Was too arrogant and paid for it.

Wasn't that his second fight against W. Silva? I can't remember if they fought twice.
