Someone cannot knowingly make racist statements and use racial slurs as insults, then have someone say he isn't racist. Sirc should and does have the right to say it. But he also has the obligation to take responsibility for it. If he is making racist statements because he wants and knows he will get a reaction from it, then he is racist.
Free speech does not mean speech without consequence. People do and should have the right to make racist statements. But they also need to accept that other people will judge them for their statements and a treat them accordingly. -
