It doesn't bother me if some girl wants to wear a headscarf. Makes me a little sad when I hear about fathers beating their daughters to death in my country for NOT wearing a headscarf mind you.

My blood boils a little when someone comes to my country and has the audacity to say 'in my culture women wear head scarfs bla bla whatever and we are offended that women here are not covered up in the same way' then they petition schools to have young girls, including my daughter, dress more line to their traditions.

Give me a few days and I'll find you some articles to show you what I mean.
No, I absolutely agree with you on that one.

Yes... because it's against the law in western nations. But that's not the point. The point is...

Would Muslims commit atrocities upon their women in Western Europe IF
IT WERE TOLERATED BY THE GOVERNMENT???

    Restitution by whom? To whom?

I've read comments about potential dumping and allegations of over-fishing but I've not seen a lot of evidence of either. Further, the illegality (not anything about ethics) remains to be demonstrated. I wouldn't be surprised if much of the fishing were negotiated with some tribes, unfortunately fishing affects a lot more than that one tribe. Doesn't make it illegal though.

Oh, and by the way, you're essentially arguing that the ends (financial restitution) justifies the means (piracy and taking hostages). This is not surprising (most people argue that way) but it is ironic because that's currently what the GOP is arguing vis-a-vis torture.

Please link to the article where the Jewish community in Britain or anywhere is torturing and killing their women and female children for dressing inappropriately, for refusing to renouce Judaism, for talking to a male who is not a blood relative. Something current. The christian bible does not qualify as current.

Oh I'm sorry, I forgot the Koran qualifies as the gospel unflinching truth and not open to interpretation, while the bible is obviously ancient and silly and don't pay attention to it, Christians aren't like that. THEY'RE THE SAME FUCKING BOOK.

I already told you I can't speak for what happens in the rest of Europe, you do understand that Europe isn't a country?

I'm a fucking atheist, as far as I'm concerned they can all go **** themselves. But I can't in good conscience argue against a right for one group of people when other (practically fucking identical in the context of the law) groups are free to exercise the same right. It's bullshit, it's hypocritical and it's prejudice.

Why are we all arguing? If America was nicer, than nobody would be mean anywhere.
And lo, Kano looked down upon the field and saw the multitudes. Amongst them were the disciples of Uesheba who were greatly vexed at his sayings. And Kano spake: "Do not be concerned with the mote in thy neighbor's eye, when verily thou hast a massive stick in thine ass".
