That's the thing though: it doesn't matter what your position is. It matters that you're allowed to actually express one, instead of having the whole business surreptitiously swept under the carpet because said person (or their friends) are ashamed of their actions.

If a female fighter wants to beat the hell out of a guy for money, more power to her. I'm a capitalist so I have no problem with whatever business arrangements consenting adults voluntarily enter into together. To me, it's no different than Mark Coleman in a king outfit riding a banana; a fighter's gotta eat, and the sport's still struggling to properly compensate them for their talent.

But I hate coverups more than I hate new age festivals and bologna. "Truth" is for philosophers and bullshit artists, but facts are the property of every thinking human being.

I pretty much never take any part in the whole fraud busting part of bullshido, ever, at all, in any shape or form... but I still think it's awesome what this site has done to make people more aware of all the flim flamming that goes on in the martial arts. I sometimes forget that not everyone knows about bullshido and then hear about all the terrible terrible nonsense that people actually buy into. Hell, my old kickboxing instructor fully believed that Ashida Kim is a total bad ass.

Also, while somewhat indirectly, this website basically set me on the path I'm on today rather than continuing to be a lazy couch potato who might consider attending some more TKD classes some time (Kat was converted by bullshido, who later talked to me about my interest in possibly getting back into some kind of martial art and convinced me to seek out a muaythai gym over going back to my old TKD class).

As far as the old mixed wrestling debate goes, most folks here should be pretty familiar with my position on that whole thing, har har.

Excellent interview. I see that it was conducted by the Seattle examiner. I hope it was over the phone, because if you flew out here for that and you didn't come visit me, you're owed a beating :).

Nah, it was all via e-mail. As much as I'd love to fly out and have Phrost punch me in the face, it's not terribly practical. And there's no shortage of people in Seattle who like to punch me in the face/choke me out. :)

Yes, yes, that is very true, very true indeed.

But, at least my mom cleans up well and has some class...Yours is like a bowling ball, she gets three fingers, thrown in the gutter, and comes back for more.
