The LESS people doing MA the better.
I hate the way the MA are for everyone now !!
I liked it more when it was elitist, made me feel cool and special.
Now, any fat kid can get into a dojo.

I think people should be deserving to learn MA.
If you are fat, join a gym, stop eating big mac's, you rat bastard !!!

Seriously, I think Sports, any sports, are great for ALL kids.
My problem is that, more often than not, kids take MA beacuse they want to learn to fight.
And they end up thinking they CAN fight and most CAN'T.
I have a problem with THAT.

If the kid is willing to work and sweat and learn, I don't see a problem.

If he's there cuz his parents made him go and he's slowing down the class, then there is a problem.

correction, the american south is the fattest place in the world.

that sedentary lifestyle will prepare those kids well to be medical students and/or keyboard warriors on bullshido!

yeah i know---- there was a program on telly a couple of weeks ago about Houston, and how it is the fattest city in the USA..... Oh my god, there was a 44stone woman, that is like three of me!!!!!! (14 pounds in a stone)

Yeah the worst thing the martial arts community could have done was to publisise the idea 'martial arts is for everyone'.Its not. It is only for the kind,courteous,sophisticated,benevolent and chilverious(sp?). I.e people such as myself.
