A good way to counter the superman punch on expert is to learn the timing of it and throw a right hook (Y button) as he's throwing it.

I don't think the superman punch is overpowered so much as it's over-used by expert liddell. Nobody throws that many superman punches, especially Liddell.

Yeah, Tiger spam sucks, but I learned to get over it. Thank Capcom for Focus cancelling and Rufus's Falcon Kick.

I love it when people focus cancel to inch forward. Then they get so high stakes one little jab costs them half a round

Yeah...sometimes I forget I take damage when I do that. Rufus's Galactic Tornado works good too, though.

I bet the top ranked players of the game won't even be fighters, and would probably win by spamming round house kicks or flying knees or superman punches.

Awesome things about this game:

1. They may not be the best, but professional MMA fighters do actually play this game. Joe Lauzon and Rampage have talked about playing it on twitter, and Paul Bradley was talking about how Dana made him retire in career mode from "too many beatings" last night in the gym.

2. Spamming high kicks and superman punches will get you taken down SO fast, not to mention gassed.

i got to get this fucker the way you are all talking about it.

i usually only play with friends in couch co-op when drinking but mabye i'll make exception.

i am crazy skeptical of mma games because of the crappy track record, and was hoping fight night would be the next good fighting game (mk vs. dc wore off).

if i do bother to play online which i doubt it might not be so "odd" if its with bullshido people- there is a chance well meet at a td sometime somewhere right?

so unlike the random geek scarfing pringles and lard from thier permanent ass groove in the couch- its like crapping on and bieng crapped on by real people when you win/lose online.
