Have you got a front sight post extender? They tend to fire high and right without one unless you have the bayonet fixed.

It does shoot high depending on where you are. At about 100 yards it shoots straight on, under that it shoots high. I'm guessing after that distance it shoots right on depending where you have the sights set to, within reason. The sights go out to like 2000m or something. I don't know about shooting anything past 400-500m with it.

the sites actually go out to almost a mile, which is pretty damn optomistic

but they are marked in old russian arshin which are not quite yards (28")

I just bought a cleaned up and ready to shoot Mosin Nagant w/bayonet and toolkit and a box of ammo - $130

Luxembourg does have a (small) military. But you will be able to shoot from one end of the country to the other.

And if Luxembourg's army is marching toward you in single file, you can eliminate the entire army with one well placed round. Just be sure that there is something solid behind them to stop the round so that you don't hit Germany and piss them off.

Hahaha that jokepost is so true - the mosin manual is the only gun document I've ever seen that ENCOURAGES just beating on the thing if the bolt sticks.
