Goldberg's backward speak like Yoda annoying it is
To be fair, Goldy has to ask questions that seem silly and irrelevant to people like us who understand whats going on, so that newbs who are lost about whats happening can know whats going on without being completely lost.
He also has to ask questions that make him sound like an idiot so to set up Rogans color commentating.
That said.....yeah he's a spastic **** who repeats the same goldyisms way too often in fights.
So I was originally gonna make a new thread in YMAS, but then I found this lovely little gem and thought it made a much better home for this video clip.

That's my first time hearing his commentary (i don't watch the UFC that much)... Seriously? Wtf is with this guy.

It's weird, I spend so much time listening to Joe Rogan (since he's a comedian, I figure he's going to say something retarded on purpose) that I typically don't notice Mike. WoW!!!!! WTF, Mike, wtf!
I have to say that one element of the UFC video game that cracks me up every time, is that during the fight play-by-play, Goldberg will mis-call a punch and then correct himself. Hilarity.
Secondly, I can't muster the ire to really care about any commentating problems. I'm usually either too into the fight, or am babbling happily with the friends who are over to watch the fights.
No, Goldberg isnt perfect.
Yes, you can make a drinking game out of his voal habits.
But so what?
I read somewhere that they were recorded live watching the game being played and that was used for the in-game announcing, which is he seems so true to life with his fuckups.

I'm just glad Goldberg doesn't sit at home with a bunch of index cards and a pen and then comes in to work with a bunch of "clever" sayings, like "He's running for mayor of Fisticuffs Village!" to say at random.
He is clearly one drunken episode away from doing so at all times.
