I was thinking after these last few years some knowledge he could use off the cuff would soak through. Keep wishing.

I wish he would train a little on the ground so he might know a little more.
It kinda hurts to train though, so maybe its a no go for him. Doughboy.

This is the fruition of the decades-old "dumbing down" of Americans; it seems that a new trend of illiteracy emerges in popular culture at least every three months, the most recent of which being the problem you discussed. That statement probably appears to be melodramatic bullshit, but its accuracy will become obvious if you spend six months regularly watching sports broadcasts (pick you favorite sport, college football works nicely), prime time television, and a 24 hour news network (as much as you can stand). The movie Idiocracy becomes closer to a documentary every day.

I have seriously considered writing a series of blog posts which would highlight the illiteracy rampant in television advertising, but my anger hasn't yet been great enough to tip the balance in the "Is this the same kind of inane **** everyone writes on their blog?" test.
