how did you go in that comp henno? i don't remember if you said you'd had a fight yet or not when i spoke to you.

bornsceptic was also there but i missed him somehow.

EDIT - oh, and anyone going in that comp at five dock this weekend?

Hey danno,

Comp not so good. Got in a scramble passing guard and ended up giving up my back. Defended for a long time but he got me in the end. At least he ended up winning the division.

It looked like you got through a few rounds. Did you fight the guy who looked like he stepped out of the rock and roll wrestling ring?

Gmanau's doing the five dock comp. I've got my 10th wedding anniversary this weekend so taking a leave pass to do a comp not worth my life.

luck of the draw there. it's happened to me a few times - fighting the guy who ends up winning the whole thing in the your first match.

yeah, i came second. and yeah, it was to that guy wearing the "GO USA" leotard thing. he was really fit and strong, beat me on points while i gassed.

i asked him about the ridiculous costume, he said he saw it for sale on the net and couldn't resist. he basically did it to annoy people.

I considered the comp this weekend but I'm going to pass. I haven't worn a gi in six months.

I do plan to enter the NSW Pankration titles next month though.

I will have to confirm the time closer to the date, in all likelihood noon-3pm or some such.

bs let me know if you enter the pankration tourney, I would like to come and hurl obscenities at your opponents.
