Finding the perfect martial arts/weight training schedule

    Hi, first post.

It's a new year and after a few months away from martial arts, I plan to get back into it. Not only that, I plan on lifting weights to build some muscle. I am interested in working out a schedule where my MA and weight lifting can work together.

    What's more important to you?

Getting techniques down or getting big?
And what is availible to you in terms of MA classes and times.....
And what else do you do? Work? School? Panhandle? Strip?

Right now I've been off of Martial Arts during the holiday break. I like to have a more lean body and powerful body while not neglecting my techniques.

My usual MA classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Try this workout. Other people on this board are finding it works well.

Also if you want to put on weight you should take a look at your diet. Proper diet can never be too important. Its going to give you energy and help you put on the size you want. If you want I'll post a link to help you figure out what you need.
