Does anyone know if there has been any good historical research done on the life of Su Kong Tai (or Ta'i) Djin (or Jin)?
I've found several short bios on the web, most of them being from Shaolin Do sites, and some of them containing colorful (though certainly exaggerated) tales of his prowess (such as sparring with bears & being able to hear 13 men breathing!).
I'd also be interested in hearing from anyone who can confirm the alleged prowess of the other Shaolin Do "grandmasters," Ie Chang Ming & Sin Kwang The. My BS alarm was set off when I read this passage from http://www.chineseshao-lincenterflor...ndmasters.html :
Grandmaster Ie tied Master Sin's wrists to his feet in an arched position similar to the I Chin Ching #35 posture. In this position, he learned to crawl by moving the muscles of his chest alone. Grandmaster Ie also threw Master Sin into the ocean with his hands and feet tied. Master Sin learned to swim by wriggling his body.

look in the eyes of all the "masters" on a Shaolin Do website. with each rank comes another layer of perversion and sickness in their gazes.

What we need is a place for noob topics.
And that's when I figured out that tears couldn't make somebody who was dead alive again. There's another thing to learn about tears, they can't make somebody who doesn't love you any more love you again. It's the same with prayers. I wonder how much of their lives people waste crying and praying to God. If you ask me, the devil makes more sense than God does. I can at least see why people would want him around. It's good to have somebody to blame for the bad stuff they do. Maybe God's there because people get scared of all the bad stuff they do. They figure that God and the Devil are always playing this game of tug-of-war game with them. And they never know which side they're gonna wind up on. I guess that tug-of-war idea explains how sometimes, even when people try to do something good, it still turns out bad.
