looking to buy muay thai pads

Right now I am looking at:
    http://www.muaythai-fighting.com/boo...elcro-kpv.html

    or the kings
    http://www.kofightgear.com/thai_pads.htm

Any recommendations between the two? Any other brands I should look at?

I have a pair of the Top Contender Thai pads that continue to be my favorite out of all the pads I've used. Most pleasant to kick or hold.

Top contender pads will fall apart where the velcro is.

I've never tried either of those you showed but since they look fairly sturdy I would choose the cheapest.

We've been using these at the club. Great product, IMO, but they are a 100 bucks. I don't know how good bang/buck is when you pay retail for them..

the combat sports thai pads were affordable and have held up pretty well for my school.

aries seem well made as well.

I've had my pads for 4 years and they remain in solid shape.

Buckles are the way to go.

Velcro is always the first part to fail. Second is the duct tape you used to cover the Velcro.
