Great story MBG, I'm still a noob when it comes to BJJ, so I haven't even began to explore the joys of leg locks yet. We have been working the Gracie Gift lately and I have to say after reading the post and comments about it, I am very wary about ever trying to use that technique.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT REILLY BODYCOMB CLIP! His stuff is like mana from heaven. I had just about learned how not to pull people straight into mount (something that quite a few people at my gym do frequently) but his leg knot clips showed me how to leglock people without rushing for speed or worrying about getting counterattacked. His half guard and butterfly guard to leglock videos are also awesome, since those were two positions that I knew but had no real use for. You've turned me into a leglock slut!

He has a 2 DVD set out for really cheap (under 40$ if memory serves) that will turn you into such a leg lock slut, they'll be calling you the "Your mom" of leg locks.

Ha, I guess I just also got everyone elses hopes up for an update too! Well, it's crunch time with finals next week, so I'm sure procrastination will rear its beautiful, charming genitalia.
