It is funny, I have tested a couple of BJJ schools (and other MA schools) and while I had my fair share of *omg WTF* moments, I never ran into that kind of ****. Even the two Gracie schools I have been to were not full of that ****. Yeah one was Henzos but the other was also OKAY, not top notch but above average that is for sure. You got to be the unluckiest guy training BJJ.
Sometimes you lose and sometimes the other guy wins.
At this point I don't owe anybody an explenation.
Schools I trained at:
Lotus Club Cetepe Liberdade Sao Paulo
Renzo Gracie NYC
New York Combat Sambo

Thanks
Hey, Mr. Badguy. I just discovered Forever Fat I and spent most of an afternoon chuckling at your misdaventures. Thanks for making my day with great stuff and brilliant writing. Please keep up the good work, which puts the foibles of my school into better perspective.
P.S. Sounds like you dad rocks. -

Another note in the sober light of day: this kind of not-really-McDojo, non-Bullshido, but instead just low-intensity, non-sparring declawing of BJJ is possibly the most demoralizing and insidious of the negative spiral of combat arts that we sometimes see. Disappointing.
