TUF episode 2 discussion
anybody watch it the other night? i feel really sorry for the guy who found out he had face herpies on national TV. as it stands, i'm not as impressed with the americans as i was with the brits.
the fight between the two friends who trained at the same gym was an awesome fight though.

So the fetal position is now an active defense.

for 4 minutes?....if I was the guy who lost i'd be pissed. He obviously stopped beating on the guy after the first minute. There is no cheating, there is only jiu-jitsu.

I wonder who arranged the matches for the elimination episode.
Not that it matters much, but it seems like a dick move to have the teammates fight each other in the first round.
I recall Bisping had a couple teammates in episode one but they fought different opponents.

Its one thing if you and a teammate face each other in the finals, its another to face each other in the first round when there are plenty of guys you DON'T tangle with five days a week. I was hoping that when two jackasses dropped out, they'd give the guy who lost another shot, but instead we get Juvenile-Jackass-Attitude, version 2.0

oh yeah, and i was hella excited for santino defranco. kudos for recovering from a brain anyurism in season 2 and coming back to win a spot on the team now. although, the fetal position defense for 3 1/2 minutes was, well....... i dunno, at least we know he can take a punch.
