    List of MMA movies

Couldn't find anything much with the search function so here goes. ( Forgive me if I'm tha noob )

Not many movies portray MMA. Some lay claim to it but in reality they just include aspects of the sport with a heavy sprinkling of Hollywood. As far as I know there has been no "Raging Bull" equivalent for MMA. All we have are fiction films representing the sport pretty dismally and some very good documentaries.
I'll try and make a list of what I know and edit in other people's additions.

    Category 1, Documentaries:

    Choke
    Smashing Machine

Category 2, Movies incorporating the sport in some way, however badly:

    Never Back Down
    Red Belt
    No Rules

Category 3, those with supposedly anything goes matches or MMA guest appearances:

    Best of the Best 2
    Bloodsport
    Cradle2theGrave
    Fight Quest
    Shootfighter

    Anyone else?

I was a little shocked. Sure, he changed sides quickly, but I guess even a dog can realize it has more in common with the wolf than with the shephard.

I give him the names of some BJJ schools in the area, and we go our separate ways.

    Undisputed 2: Last Man Standing.
Not a bad film actually, the leads Michael Jai White and Scott Adkins are legitimate martial artists.

    The Scorpion
An MMA/crime film starring some guy who tries very hard to look like Bas Rutten, some guy trying to look like Steve Buscemi, and Jerome Lebanner. A very bad film, it's French, so 60% of the film is extreme close ups of people smoking cigarettes while having interior monologues.

    The Eliminator
Bas Rutten beats Steve Austin to the punch in the genre of "Bald bad asses ripping off Battle Royale and The Most Dangerous Game at the same time". Highly recommended, because it's Bas and he kills a guy with the Twister.

    Flash Point
A Hong Kong film that features MMA fights. Two of them. In a 90 minute movie. Watch the fights on Youtube, leave the DVD in the bargain bin rack at Wal mart.

    The mask(original Jim carry movie)

In the fight scene at the end Jim double legs, mouts and G&Ps the bad guy.

    fast and furious (series)

If it only was a fight movie. Seems how the fight scenes were better than most of the racing. aspecialy in 2f2f and the new one...

Renzo Gracie Legacy is a documentary, right?

Undisputed 2, the Scorpion, the Eliminator, Flash Point, the Mask and FtF Series would belong in category 3, no?

And excuse my noobishness, but how the hell does one go about editing ones posts on this forum?

There's the MMA Documentary that has been shown on MSNBC a few times, "Warrior Nation."

I think fighting should go under the "White guy struggling to be black and must earn the respect of his peers through fighting."
Also, put Red belt, Never back down, and the Fast and the Furious
