Maybe, he should have kicked after the flying spinning one before. The capoeira guy landed completely uncovered. That could have made him more careful about his kicks.
But he didnt, and got kicked instead.
Powerful one hurts even from watching.
Beautiful victory. 100% winning attitude. -

The mma fighter lets his guard down when the capoeira guy crouchs, thus when the kick connects the mma fighter takes it full force on the chin.
Definitely the surprise aspect along with the speed of the kick that defines this win. If the MMA guy had been moving at the same pace as the capoeira dude and had more experience of capoeira style kicks he might have been better prepared.
Yes crouching the body does deliver more power to a kick but it also leaves you vunerable with your back exposed, although admittedly for a short period of time. If your opponent is fast enough they can be on top of you from the rear leading most likely to a choke . -
